Room was clean and nice. Great view of the river. Breakfast was delicious. Claudio saved the day as we were leaving for Vernazza. Taxi went to the wrong side of the river. Very grateful. Property needed a little TLC. One of the property's cats left a present of poop on the steps to our room. I'm not sure Claudio understood me but 24 hours later the poop was still there.

Je recommande ce B&B pour les raison suivantes: la qualité de l'accueil et l'esprit de convivialité dont fait preuve Monsieur Claudio, nous avons le sentiment de séjourné chez, un ami. Son moulin est un havre de paix et de charme au bord de l'Arno. la proximité de la ligne de bus nous permet de se rendre en 30 minute au cœur de Florence sans se soucier du problème de parking. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et satisfait l'ensemble des goûts. L’hôte parle parfaitement le Français, il sait nous faire partager l'amour de sa région. il est de très bons conseils pour indiquer les lieux à ne pas manquer. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Encore merci.

The property is located in a very beautiful and quiet location on the Arno, our room was quite large with a nice bathroom (Salcio room). Claudio is a laid-back guy and takes everything easy. He prepared a great breakfast for us. You can easily reach Florence by bus. The pool is a bit small, but it's enough to cool off.

This B&B La Martellina was a real find. An old mill renovated with love and taste. Not a great luxury but very cozy and clean. The large garden by the Arno river is perfect for relaxing and spending time. Particularly noteworthy is the breakfast served in the garden. There were many Tuscan delicacies, in addition to the usual items like bread, croissants, cereals, etc. The host is very friendly and speaks English very well.

La Martellina is strategically located for those who want to move around by bicycle and is connected to Florence by the cycle path along the Arno river. In the structure there are cats and a large dog, peaceful but they make the stay not suitable for those who do not like or are afraid of these animals. The cleanliness of the common areas is not up to standard: as soon as we arrived at the house there were animal excrements, it was not possible to use the pool (full of leaves and with murky water) and the garden is unfortunately neglected, with hammocks and deck chairs stained and ruined. The main problem in terms of cleanliness was the towels: they looked old, greyed, and there were hairs and orange stains present (like rust). After requesting a change, the situation did not improve, indeed. The Salcio Tower is very particular, it deserves a one-night stay because it feels like sleeping in a castle tower: it is not very comfortable to reach but extremely scenic and, fortunately, it is equipped with air conditioning. The continental buffet breakfast is very varied and well cared for, especially in the savory part, and was served outdoors at a communal table. Overall, the structure has potential, it just needs more care and attention.

Luogo ben servito da autobus diretti al centro di Firenze, molto suggestivo sia gli interni che la visuale esterna direttamente in riva all'Arno, colazione buona e camere ben pulite, consiglio magari un soggiorno anche nella bella stagione per poter meglio usufruire degli spazi esterni, che nel periodo di fine anno giustamente non danno il meglio di se.
