We didn't manage to feel comfortable. The breakfast included in the price was very basic, if you wanted something more it was at an extra cost. The jacuzzi was not working and there was not enough room to shower standing up.

Accommodation lacking in structural aspects, with evident traces of mold in the shower and walls without plaster, as well as poor general hygienic-sanitary conditions. The room did not have a private refrigerator; there was only a shared fridge that was in poor condition. Additionally, basic services and essentials were missing, such as toilet paper. Overall very negative experience and not recommended.

Pensavo di aver chiuso ogni comunicazione con Voi, dopo la diffida formale ricevuta tramite Whatzapp il 18/Agosto/2026 e successiva PEC, ricevuta sempre martedi 18 Agosto 2026 alle ore 13: 25, alla quale ho risposto sempre lo stesso giorno alle ore 18: 38. La struttura che secondo Lei è “assolutamente invivibile e carente” è stata ristrutturata totalmente nel 2016 e ogni anno sono stati fatti interventi di adeguamento strutturale e manutenzione straordinaria. Mi pare ovvio che la manutenzione nelle strutture ricettive si fa in bassa stagione perché ci sono meno clienti e più camere libere. In questo modo la struttura non perde soldi, non dà fastidio agli ospiti con rumori o lavori e può riparare o rinnovare le stanze per tempo aspettando l'arrivo della nuova estate o dei periodi pieni. Noi di solito facciamo interventi di manutenzione nei mesi che vanno da metà ottobre ai primi di dicembre. Abbiamo optato di installare dispenser di carta igienica, proprio per garantire una maggiore igiene, impedendo il contatto con germi, riducendo gli sprechi di carta, grazie all'erogazione controllata. Il rotolo o i fogli restano chiusi dentro la struttura, protetti da polvere, umidità e contatti accidentali con le mani degli utenti. Abbiamo optato per il frigo in zona comune e rimosso i mini frigo dalle camere, per i seguenti motivi: il compressore genera piccole vibrazioni che si amplificano se il minibar non è stabile o tocca le pareti del vano in legno, inoltre nei modelli tradizionali a compressore, il ronzio periodico e i leggeri gorgoglii del gas sono normali, ma fastidiosi nel silenzio della notte. Preciso che la pulizia del frigo comune è comunque eseguita tutti i giorni. Abbiamo dato incarico ad uno studio legale per la valutazione dell'eventuale danno d'immagine e reputazione della struttura ricettiva. Mascali 28/08/2026 Il Proprietario Dott. Nunzio Gagliano.

From the outside, the structure is nothing special. Inside, it is well divided and very nice. One downside is the hot tub located in the lowest part of the sloping roof, which does not allow for standing showers. It's a shame about the presence of a dead cockroach on the ground floor when leaving. The manager was very polite and helpful.

Grazie mille per la sua recensione, ma occorre fare alcune precisazioni. Fare la doccia in una vasca da bagno non è intrinsecamente pericoloso, ma può esserlo se non si prendono alcune precauzioni. Il rischio principale è la possibilità di scivolare e cadere, soprattutto durante l'uscita dalla vasca, a causa del pavimento bagnato, pertanto è meglio evitare di farsi la doccia in vasca idromassaggio. Se non le piaceva la vasca idromassaggio in fase di prenotazione poteva prendere una camera con doccia. In merito allo scarafaggio morto all'ingresso si tratta di una blatta volante, entrata da fuori casa, non dipende da scarsa igiene nostra. Dopo varie segnalazioni all'ente comunale, il comune di Mascali ha provveduto alla disinfestazione e noi quotidianamente come prevenzione effettuiamo la pulizia accurata degli ambienti, la sigillatura di crepe e fessure, l'eliminazione di fonti di cibo e acqua, e l'uso di barriere come zanzariere. Excellent Bed and Breakfast, great location, excellent company! This is a beautiful, clean and well-kept Bed and Breakfast, as well as functional. The rooms are spacious and roomy, so much so that calling them rooms is an understatement, equipped with all the necessary comforts to make guests feel at ease and fully independent. It is located in a strategic position, halfway between the sea and the center of Mascali. With the added value provided by the owners who are very helpful and excellent company, as well as very friendly. Special mention finally for the Owner Nunzio who carries out his work with passion and dedication. We will definitely return next time we go to Etna and Taormina, we recommend it to everyone. Stayed in May 2017, traveled as a couple.
