“All’ombra di San Pietro“ è una struttura semplicemente magnifica. Comodissima perché è ubicata a pochi passi da San Pietro appunto, in posizione nevralgica: a 300 metri dalla metropolitana Cipro e vicinissima alla stazione metropolitana Valle Aurelia. Se arrivi dalla stagione Tiburtina ad esempio si prende il trenino, et voilá, in 15 minuti di tragitto e 1 minuto a piedi siete arrivati! Vi accoglierà una signora speciale, il suo nome è Simonetta, gentilissima, simpaticissima, cordiale, discreta, sempre a disposizione e puntuale. Una garanzia di perfetta host. Le stanze a disposizione sono due. Una più grande, dai toni amaranto, caldissima d’inverno, con un tavolo ampio, frigorifero, e kit per una bevanda calda. Il bagno è interno e privato. Confort al massimo. L’altra stanza è più piccola, con una capienza standard, bella, colorata, con delle particolarissime farfalle dipinte dalla nostra meravigliosa host. Il bagno è sempre rigorosamente privato. Quando entri in questo scrigno ci torni, perché la padrona di casa è così prismatica e accogliente che non vedi l’ora di rivederla! Io sono un po’ di casa per questo motivo! Raccomandatissimo!

Don't trust all these positive reviews. It's a small apartment with 2-3 rooms. All reviews are written not by real people or by friends of this place. When we have arrived we saw on a table rating from booking about 9. It is a lie. We have come across these pseudo-positive reviews. It is the small-sized apartment, won't turn, won't move. Entrance, elevator all small. The hostess hands over one or two rooms in the apartment. Any noise isolation. Also you feel that always watch you. And still, in the neighboring apartment there is a dog. Rustles. Our plan was to stay 4 nights in Rome. But we stayed here just 1 night and find another place P. S. When I told that I want to pay with the credit card she made not friendly face. We haven't understood. The hostess (Simonetta) tries to be polite and to smile, but it is impossible to her because it is insincere.

Dear guest, I remember you very well, your family and your check-in on the night over the fixed time and I didn't ask you extra-price for that as writen on the site because I always welcome my guests sincerely like friends! But, with my great disappointment, this time I've been returned with a bitter criticism! Certainly I'm sorry that you didn't stay well, but if I can reply about the position that you could see it on Google Maps and yet you chose it, I cannot accept the smallest criticism about the cleaning. I'm obsessed about it and even use Medical products as this is MY HOME! On the contrary I'll be very hard about the positive reviews from my real friends: I can't allow you to say this since the score of 9,2, you saw in my house, comes from different important sites where only the real guests who booked from those sites can write the review!!! In addition how can you dare to insinuate I was annoyed for your payment by credit card when I accepted it? I could have found any excuse which I didn't! And how can you dare to say my smile and my politeness are insincere? I think your disappointment comes from a mistaken idea of the bed and breakfast. In Italy the law permits only a maximum 3 roomed house in which the host MUST live. But the term is often used to describe a cheap hotels and this isn't legal. So the people who prefer an hotel is very much confused and the real bed and breakfast hosts are disadvantaged! Hospitality and discretion, kindness and professionalism is what we found in this B&B that I highly recommend. We stayed 2 nights at this property very close to Valle Aurelia metro stop, it's practically behind the Vatican, whose dome is clearly visible from the balcony where breakfast is served. The owner, Simonetta, warmly welcomes her guests, showing herself always available for any requests. Excellent room and bathroom cleanliness. Thank you for the hospitality!

Great Bed and Breakfast in the Trionfale district, a 5-minute walk from the Valle Aurelia metro stop on line A. The owner, Mrs. Simonetta, a very kind and discreet person, made us feel at home, it was very pleasant to chat with her. We stayed in the orange room, equipped with every comfort, very clean and quiet... and then from the terrace where breakfast is served, you can see the Dome.

We spent two nights at this B&B and we had a great time. Mrs. Simonetta is kind, courteous, and above all very discreet even though she resides in the same structure. It is an apartment used as a B&B but you feel at home. Surely if I were to return to Rome, this is where I would stay.

The structure is very nice and welcoming, close to the metro so it is easy to reach the heart of the city. The rooms are clean, the owner, Mrs. Simonetta, is simply delightful, very helpful and of exemplary courtesy. The only flaw, if it can be called that, is the breakfast, very basic.

Great location for the metro and restaurants, in those recommended by Simonetta you eat very well and spend the right amount. My children would like to come back already. If I have to find a small flaw, it is the 'French' bathroom. Everything very tidy and clean. Well done Simonetta.

A bed and breakfast where nothing is missing! Clean, welcoming, and tastefully decorated, in a strategic location in Rome. In the morning, we were served an excellent breakfast, carefully prepared by the very kind Mrs. Simonetta who was very helpful and interested in satisfying every request and making our short stay a unique experience. Truly unique owner, courteous and available for any extra request. I asked to check in early and it was granted, then I left the luggage after check out to come back and get it in the afternoon. Mrs. Simonetta is a person who makes you feel at home and the property is close to the Valle Aurelia metro stop. Thank you again Mrs. Simonetta, I hope she still remembers the Sicilian cannolo I brought her.

Lode a chi, come Simonetta gestisce ancora un B&B familiare. L'accoglienza in una vera casa, il calore di uno spazio vissuto e personalizzato, in questo caso la proprietaria ha realizzato personalmente le belle decorazioni nelle camere e nella zona comune, è qualcosa davvero unico e prezioso. Per cui grazie infinite a Simonetta che si è prodigata per darci tutti i consigli utili su cose da vedere al di fuori dei circuiti turistici, che ci ha consigliato come muoverci (la fermata della metropolitana è a due passi dalla struttura) e ci ha preparato una colazione calda fatta al momento, un vero lusso al giorno d'oggi. La casa è curata in ogni dettaglio, i materassi, i guanciali e le dotazioni del bagno sono ottime. Tutto ciò che serve è a portata di mano. P. S. Fatevi raccontare da Simonetta la storia del quartiere, davvero curiosa, e indicare la scorciatoia tra casette di grande fascino in mezzo al verde.

Ottima posizione vicino a San Pietro e alla linea rossa della Metro. Bella zona tranquilla anche alla sera. La camera arancione dove abbiamo soggiornato è molto graziosa, silenziosa e curata. Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso il B&B “All’ombra di San Pietro” per 5 giorni e devo dire che mi sono trovata benissimo. La struttura è molto pulita, la camera (io sono stata nella camera arancio) è silenziosa, perfetta nelle dimensioni e nella cura dei dettagli. La signora Simonetta è gentilissima e disponibile. La colazione perfetta. Ottima la posizione sia per prendere la metro sia per andare ai Musei Vaticani e a San Pietro a piedi. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia passare dei bei giorni romani sentendosi a casa. Grazie Simonetta!

Come a casa, un soggiorno splendido! Inizierei con il parlare dell'ospitalità, in due parole? Signora Simonetta! Una donna piena di vitalità, disponibilità, gentilezza, simpatia e amore per le cose che fa. Ci ha accolti come fossimo vecchi amici, ci ha messi a nostro agio immediatamente e ci ha dato il benvenuto nella sua struttura. Profuma di buono! Abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza Gialla, non starò qui a commentare l'arredo essendo cosa soggettiva, ma c'è assolutamente da far notare la dedizione che la padrona di casa ci ha messo per renderla unica. Alcuni dei ritratti appesi alle pareti sono di suo pugno! Tutto è al suo posto: televisore, piccolo frigo, cassettiera, armadio, due bajour (ottime sia per leggere, sia per avere luce soffusa), tavolo, divano-letto, balconcino (con vista mura Vaticane e cupola di San Pietro!) e finestrona luminosa. Il bagno è essenziale, estremamente pulito (viene pulito ogni giorno), c'è il phon e i miscelatori d'acqua funzionano benissimo. Nel complesso sotto il punto di vista igienico è impeccabile. La colazione è all'italiana, ed è esattamente come la farei a casa mia. E l'ubicazione? Uno dei punti forti. A due passi dalla metro e dalla stazione "Valle Aurelia", intorno un sacco di fermate autobus. Nel cortile di ingresso c'è un ufficio postale con ATM. Poi ancora Pub, Bar, Ristoranti, Banche, Parcheggi gratuiti e a pagamento ecc. Insomma CONSIGLIATISSIMO e assolutamente da provare! Ci ritorneremo volentieri, perché oltre alla bellissima esperienza B&B, abbiamo conosciuto una Super Donna! Grazie Signora Simonetta!

La struttura si trova dietro alle mura della città del vaticano a pochi metri dalla fermata della metropolitana, la camera si è dimostrata molto pulita, ben arredata e con colori caldi. Siamo stati accolti molto caldamente dalla proprietaria Simonetta che si è dimostrata subito cordiale e gentile. Dopo averci dato tutte le indicazioni per vivere Roma al meglio è stata disponibile a venirci incontro sulle intolleranze alimentari fornendoci un ottima colazione nonostante le problematiche. Voto 10 su 10 consigliatissimo.

"All'Ombra del Vaticano".. è proprio vero, si è nelle vicinanze del Vaticano. La collocazione della struttura è ottima: metro "Valle Aurelia" a pochi minuti con la quale raggiungere le mete più significative della città. La camera è spaziosa, accogliente e pulita. La signora Simonetta è cordiale, gentile e disponibile a risolvere le eventuali difficoltà che possono intervenire. Colazione buona ed abbondante. Ritornerò certamente a Roma e sceglierò nuovamente questo B&B. Giambattista e Francesca.
