Breakfast is the most important meal for our b & b and is served daily from 8: 30 to 10: 00. We are committed to the utmost to satisfy every need, both for sweet lovers and for those who prefer savory. We offer croissants, cakes, rusks, butter, yogurt, jams and chocolate spread, cereals, bread, ham and cheese, eggs and fresh fruit. In addition to drink we serve espresso, decaf coffee, cappuccino, chocolate, tea, juice and milk.

We enjoyed our time and were really pleased with our host, Irene, who was wonderful. The room was very nice, however, there was a quite strong bad smell coming from the drains during our stay. It smelled like a sewage leak. With the windows open, however, many mosquitoes came in, and you could see smashed bugs along the walls. The location was also listed as Oltrarno when we booked, but it was much farther away from the city center than expected.

Siamo felici che abbia apprezzato la comodità del check in in autonomia e la buona connessione con i mezzi pubblici, aspetti che molti ospiti trovano molto pratici per visitare Firenze. Per quanto riguarda la colazione, il suo suggerimento è molto utile. Essendo una piccola struttura a gestione familiare, cerchiamo sempre di offrire prodotti freschi e di qualità evitando allo stesso tempo inutili sprechi. Proprio per questo prima dell’arrivo chiediamo sempre agli ospiti se desiderano qualcosa di specifico così da poterlo far trovare con piacere la mattina. Speriamo di poterla accogliere nuovamente alla Residenza Cecchi e regalarle un soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Sarà un piacere averla di nuovo con noi. Irene.

Great welcome, very spacious room with bathroom included, a 15-minute walk from Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, etc. Excellent breakfast, clean room and very nice and kind manager (manageress?). The only downside for those with a car: parking around the B&B is divided between Blue Stripes (paid, unguarded, outdoors 1€/hour, excluding night hours from 8 pm to 8 am. (if I remember correctly)) and White Stripes (reserved only for residents, if you want to try your luck, you risk a fine of a few tens of euros). Excluding this constraint, the structure is absolutely recommended.
