Castellanza is a green and peaceful small town of Varese province, where Olona Valley starts, but situated in a strategic position for people that are looking for quiet without giving up services and comforts.

We are just a step away from train station of FNM-Ferrovie Nord Milano, only 15 minutes by car from Malpensa airport and just half-way between cities of Milano and Varese and not far away from the lakes… Nearby our guests will find monuments and places of interest for culture vultures, sports centres and gyms for keeping fit.

Very friendly and helpful hosts! Well located, clean and extremely well-kept Piccolo Mondo Antico B&B near the center and the university. Quiet location at night, busy car traffic from around 07:00 during the day. Public free parking in the area.

My stay at Piccolo Mondo Antico was simply perfect. The property is welcoming, well kept and equipped with everything needed to feel immediately at home. A special thanks to the owner, Rosalba, very kind and always attentive to every detail, and to her collaborator, Daniela, very friendly, helpful and cordial. Their warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Excellent breakfast, spotless rooms and a peaceful atmosphere that invites relaxation. This is my second stay at Piccolo Mondo Antico and I am pleased to have chosen this lovely B&B again. The first time, in May, I was so impressed that I wrote a review on Google; now I feel like writing it here too. I praise the property without a doubt: it is welcoming and clean. It is located in an area with many places to eat, so no problem finding dinner; within a short walk you can reach restaurants, bars and pizzerias. Ten points go to the characteristic garden with its many medicinal plants and various vintage items; it is always tidy and clean. The owners are welcoming and extremely helpful: they picked me up at the station and the next morning they drove me to the Humanitas hospital very early, then took me back to the station. Excellent service. As far as I'm concerned, if I am in Castellanza it will be my Piccolo Mondo Antico where I will ask for room availability. Excellent.

We stayed one night with a 9-year-old girl. The place was very clean and the owners were extremely kind. The name 'Piccolo Mondo Antico' reflects the property. We will definitely return.

I should state that I give a score of 10 to my home. That said, Piccolo M.A. is a very appropriate name and consistent with the style and services offered. It is an excellent solution for those who, without spending a fortune, receive comfortable hospitality and a direct personal relationship with the host. The couple is pleasant and very courteous in their manner and welcome. There is always something to improve. For example, I did not see air conditioning (but there are radiators), but at this time (mid-September), despite the unusual African heat wave, the rooms were cool and at night a light blanket is needed. The windows have mosquito nets. Breakfast is plentiful with a selection of packaged products (on Sunday there was a homemade cake, excellent) and hot (coffee, etc.) and cold drinks. The garden is usable but watch out for mosquitoes. It's a pity it is far from the station and the bus stops, but the host is available in case of need or emergency to give you a lift when you are without your own car or motorcycle. If you go by motorcycle, ask to be able to park inside the garden, which has two entrances with a guarded gate.

What can I say, we only stayed one night, but Michele amazed us with his enchanted garden full of plants and ancient handmade objects. The B&B is very clean and the breakfast good and well assorted. If we were to go back to that area, we will definitely stay with him.

As soon as we entered the property, a welcoming atmosphere. The room is comfortable and equipped with everything. As soon as you enter, you feel like you've come home. The owners are kind and helpful. The garden is a real oasis. A spectacle of aromatic herbs and flowers juxtaposed with various pieces of antiques scattered throughout the courtyard.

Rosalba and Michele are two exceptional people who made us feel at home. I stayed for two days with my son and we had a great time. The rooms are extremely clean and well taken care of in every detail. Abundant breakfast. Inside the B&B, there is a garden, or I would say a small vegetable garden, excellently maintained with aromatic plants of all kinds. Thank you Rosalba and Michele.

Nice structure with well-kept and clean rooms, complete and well-stocked bathroom, in a quiet and not very busy area, not far from the city center of Castellanza and Liuc University. Amazing the small vegetable/herb garden with aromatic and officinal plants and the museum of trades with all the tools of rural and agricultural trades of the past. Nice stay, we are satisfied with the choice.

Exceptional hospitality! Immediately we appreciated the courtesy, the availability but also the respect for the privacy of the guests by the owners; then, having a bit of time (unfortunately not as much as we would have liked) to enjoy that enchanting oasis, we stayed with the owners, savoring their passion for that wonderful little ancient world in which the same dwelling, the flowers, the scents and smells of aromatic plants manage to transmit peace and serenity to others.
