Location and style
Our B&B is located a stone's throw from the lake, in front of the Riva Bianca beach, one of the most famous on Lake Como. The villa is located in a quiet position from which you can enjoy a splendid panoramic view. "Le Ortensie" is a prestigious home that brings back the emotions of the past, an elegant design structure with attention to every detail, a structure with a unique and unmistakable style. The area in which we find ourselves and the surrounding places offer our guests the opportunity to visit Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa Monastero among the most famous of the lake, admire the products of local crafts, enjoy the visits of Bellagio, Menaggio, Varenna , Corenno Plinio and the Pian di Spagna Reserve, experience the flavors of the place thanks to the various food and wine itineraries, participate in the numerous cultural events and get lost among the sounds and scents of the numerous gardens in the area. In the surroundings of our facility you can rent electric bicycles, canoes, motor boats. Not far from golf courses.
Our residence
is the perfect location for all traveling families who will feel at home here, for a romantic holiday in a quiet and reserved environment, for all those who want to take care of themselves in a peaceful and comfortable environment, for all those who wish to spend some time in an uncontaminated natural environment. Property features We will provide our guests with three bedrooms all with private bathroom, free wifi, heated rooms, possibility to return at any time of the night, paid parking, a beautiful garden, a large terrace.

In the room our guests will find hairdryer, internet access, mirror and luggage rack. We can accommodate up to a maximum of 9 travelers in: 1 room 'family room' that can accommodate 4 people 1 room 'Double indipen' that can accommodate 3 people 1 room 'Double room' that can accommodate 2 people Notes We will give you a good morning with our rich and delicious breakfasts. Your 4-legged friends will also be welcome with us as long as they are on a leash and with their owners, they are not left alone in the room. The daily cost is € 8.00. You will be welcomed and assisted by managers who can speak Italian, English, French, Spanish

Breakfast in the garden and on the terrace if the weather permits, or in the livingroom with lake view. Jams, butter mountain, eggs, yogourth, croissant, sweets according to the time and local products for those who also loves something salato. All accompanied by a fruit juice and milk, coffee or tea.

Wonderful Hostess, lovely property, great location, great room and superb breakfast. We were picked up from, and returned to, the railway station at Varenna on arrival and departure, due to the baggage that we had, the poor lady had to make two trips each time. Lierna is a magic little village about a 10 minute drive, or train trip, to Varenna, which is a good central point for transport around lake Como. Lierna has lovely cafes, a great patisserie and a neat supermarket. All the people that we came into contact with in the village were warm and welcoming. If we were ever fortunate enough to return we would definitely stay at B&B Le Ortensie and Lierna.

Líu est une hôte charmante, accueil très sympathique. Nous avons eu un petit souci qu’elle nous a aidé à régler très rapidement. Sa maison domine le lac, le copieux petit déjeuner servi le matin sur le balcon est des plus agréable.

Il B&B è in una bella villa che dà sul lago: dalla finestra del soggiorno/sala da pranzo c'è un panorama spettacolare. Arredato molto bene, con grande gusto e tanti particolari carini, oltre che con tanti servizi aggiuntivi, tra cui la cucina che abbiamo potuto utilizzare per scaldarci la cena. Il soggiorno/sala da pranzo ha anche un romantico caminetto, che abbiamo potuto goderci la sera in compagnia del super gatto Max. La camera, super pulita e con bagno privato, aveva tutti gli accessori utili e di charme. Insieme alla camera, avevamo accesso al giardino, dove è stato pensato uno spazio dedicato a ciascuna camera, con tavolino e sedie, ideale per chi vi trascorre più giorni o durante la bella stagione. La titolare è stata molto gentile nell'aspettarci ed accogliente in ogni nostra piccola necessità. Ci siamo sentiti proprio a casa. La colazione, buona ed abbondante, nella sala vista lago è stata bellissima. Ci portiamo a casa il calore di questa struttura, inteso in senso emotivo.

Il mio check in è stato effettuato il 2 luglio 2019 ed il check out il 3 luglio 2019. Il B&B mi è piaciuto da subito per la sua posizione vicina al lago e per lo splendido panorama. Peccato per la camera, pulita, ma piena di ragni in ogni angolo del soffitto. Peccato per la poca gentilezza della proprietaria non in grado di accogliere il bisogno degli ospiti e di comunicare in modo adeguato con essi, capendoli e rispettandoli. Ho trovato questo B&B molto chiassoso sia a causa degli altri ospiti, sia a causa del treno.
