Sotto il Faro B&B

Everything was wonderful, Stef and Davide were very welcoming. The breakfast every morning was lovely; I especially enjoyed the variety of fresh fruits (including some from their garden) and the espresso. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Trieste.

Stef and David were extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The communication, cleanliness, provided service and of course the breakfast were all exceeding our expectations. The property is situated in a picturesque green area, yet the city centre is easily accessible by car or bus within 10 to 15 minutes. The nearby railway starts operating in the morning, and with the window open, it can serve as a natural alarm clock to ensure you don't miss breakfast and the opportunity to explore Trieste and surroundings.

We had the pleasure to be guests for 4 nights and our choice couldn't have been better. The room was perfectly clean and quiet. The breakfast was adapted to every taste. Moreover, we were grateful for Stef and Davide's profound knowledge of Trieste and its surroundings which they happily shared with us. Another big plus is the B&B's private parking for guests. We would definitely stay at B&B Sotto Il Faro again.

The hosts were amazing, made you feel like home. The beds are the best we ever slept in, the breakfast was really good and diverse. Free snacks, sweets and drinks in your room, makes you feel spoiled. The only complaint is that we cannot move there forever! 😁.

Perfect accommodation for a city trip and for relaxing too! Bus stop is nearby, the city is not far. Hosts are lovely people, they care for everything, breakfast was great. We learned a lot about Trieste, Italy, EU, and life in general!

Stef and Davide's house is the perfect place to spend the perfect vacation. The private parking is a plus. The house is beautiful and spotless and just 5 minutes by car from the center. I stayed two nights with them and felt pampered, just like I was at a friend's house. I felt at home, and it was also nice to meet their lovely four-legged friends who helped me feel a little less homesick for my furry friend. I was welcomed in the best way, with a good glass of wine, and a pleasant chat on the terrace with plenty of tips to make the most of my vacation. It was like staying with friends. It is rare for me to feel so comfortable as a guest. It was a great pleasure to meet them and be their guest! My compliments for how they impeccably manage their B&B and for the fabulous breakfast. Thank you so much Stef and Davide for your hospitality, kindness, friendliness, and availability. The vacation at your home was wonderful.

The structure is really nice, equipped with every comfort. I left the car in the parking lot and always moved around by bus, which has a stop a few hundred meters away. Spacious and bright room, very quiet location very close to the waterfront, very rich and varied breakfast. Step and Davide are very kind, helpful, and down-to-earth, always ready to give useful advice on what to see, how to get around. They made me feel at home, thanks again and I will return.

I stayed with some friends in this pleasant establishment for a few days. The owners were very kind, super welcoming, very helpful, and they shared a lot about Trieste and its surroundings. Excellent and fantastic B&B! I liked everything about the property, from the services it offered, the location, the furnishings, the cleanliness but especially the welcome, the hospitality, and the kindness of the managers Davide and Stef, not to mention the "Good Morning" from Igor, every morning of our stay. The days always started with a very varied, good, and abundant breakfast accompanied by the company of Stef, always ready to recommend itineraries with the related history of the places and places of refreshment. I will definitely return to Trieste, and they will be my point of reference for where to stay. Thank you for everything!

We were accurately welcomed by Stef and Davide who enlightened us about the history of Trieste and the surrounding areas, advising us on the places to visit. We appreciated the attention to detail, the friendly atmosphere of the B&B also characterized by the presence of their lovely four-legged friends. We returned home culturally and humanly enriched.

There is little to say, welcoming owners, cozy rooms, friendly house animals, fantastic breakfast, comfortable beds, and close to the center. You can't give six stars otherwise I would have given them. Until next time.

Very welcoming structure with private parking, beautiful room, super helpful managers with passion in their work, top breakfast. Area served by bus to the center, accommodation near the Faro della Vittoria, what more could you ask for? Thank you, three days of vacation that we needed.

Exquisite hosts, welcoming structure, furnished with excellent taste. We were super pampered. There are also a lovely dog and three cats.

Easter holiday at the B&B Sotto il Faro, a recently renovated structure with a very comfortable room and harmonious and tasteful furnishings. The bathroom is very bright, with excellent ventilation thanks to the electric velux. The buffet is rich in fresh and quality local products, in addition to meeting the needs of international guests. The owners, Stjepan and Davide, are lovely people who advised us on local venues and itineraries that fully satisfied us. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.

If you are looking for perfection in a B&B, you will probably find it with Stef and Davide. Two extremely kind and helpful hosts, they will make you feel 'at home'. The room is beautiful and stylishly decorated, modern and with all the comforts. The breakfast is something incredible, so varied, well-prepared, and abundant. Covered parking (!) and a place to park our precious bicycles... Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home.

The welcome from Stef, reserved for me, my wife, and little Bart (our poodle), was, to say the least, exceptional, immediately putting us at ease, making us feel at home, and giving us all the information on places to visit and places to eat. Stunning place, beautiful room, efficient cleaning, and a very varied and plentiful breakfast. In addition to Stef and Davide, truly exquisite and always available people, we must not forget Igor, their splendid dog. I recommend it.

We stayed at the property for two nights with our dog. Stef and Davide are two wonderful people who welcomed us with the smile that distinguished them throughout our stay. Stef provided us with excellent directions on how to move around and what to visit upon our arrival, the breakfast is rich and varied (impossible not to be satisfied), the location is strategic and allows easy access to points of interest, the cleanliness is impeccable... what more can I say! RECOMMENDED.

We enjoyed our stay with Stefan and David, their helpfulness, their hospitality, their friendliness, the amazing breakfast, the possibility to park the car securely. The bus stop and the boulevard are within walking distance. The room and other areas have all been decorated very personally by the hosts.
