Santa Chiara Inn was born from the projects of a family of established hoteliers who with great passion decides to renovate an old house in the historic center of Naples, engaging in particular in the recovery of the original paintings and nineteenth-century wooden beams. Unique in its kind, it therefore tries to combine the authenticity of the rooms with comfort and contemporary design, offering its guests a unique and suggestive experience.

The structure owes its name to its position in the heart of the historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the Neapolitan city. It is in fact in front of one of the main entrances of the Monastery of Santa Chiara, which with its magnificent cloisters every year attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world.

It is difficult to describe the atmosphere that one breathes even just walking through the streets of the neighborhood steeped in history and tradition capable of influencing its walkers both day and night.

Here we offer Italian breakfast at the partner bar. It consists of caffè latte (hot milk with coffee), cappuccino or tea with biscuits, cornetto (croissant), rusks and toasted bread but also yogurt, cereals and muesli. If breakfast is eaten in the affiliated bar (coffee shop), it is composed of cappuccino, espresso and cornetto or pastry

A great little hotel with a very helpful owner. Unprepossessing from the outside, it is modern, clean, and adequately spacious inside. There are 65 steps, so with luggage this might be a challenge for some. Breakfast is coffee and cornetto (croissant) in the cafe next door. The location is great, right in the center of the old city, a few minutes' walk from Metro line 1 (universita stop), making it an ideal base from which to visit Neapolitan sites, and via train, those of the wider Naples Bay. Highly recommended.

The welcome was really great and the staff very pleasant. The room was ready earlier than expected and they agreed to keep our luggage in the luggage storage on the last day at no extra charge. The hotel is located in the heart of the city's historic district. The room is quiet, bright, and clean. Breakfast is served in a bar 20 meters away by a charming owner who sings and plays the piano perfectly. It was a very pleasant stay. We thank you for contributing to making our weekend so enjoyable.

Friendly reception and well located in the heart of the historic district. Quite noisy at night - no double glazing. Room quite small, difficult to be anywhere else than on the bed. Breakfast quite average - at a bar a bit further down the street. Moreover, we couldn't have it on the last morning because the bar hadn't started serving at 7:20 even though the service was scheduled for 7:00. And it was already paid in advance.

Very good welcome and contact with Gennaro first, his colleague on arrival whose name I do not know, and his other colleague the next day whose name I also do not know...\nPerhaps a suggestion for breakfast, it would be nice to have a hot drink (tea or large coffee) AND a glass of orange juice... grazie.

Absolutely to recommend: excellent location, small but clean and well-kept room, spacious bathroom, helpful staff and very attentive to customer care (Gennaro, besides being good-looking, was very kind). We will definitely come back.
