Aldo was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful in providing information and answering any questions. The area didn't have any tourists, perhaps because it was late October, which was a refreshing break from the usual. A good (if rustic) base from which to visit nearby attractions. The property's garden is wonderful.

The place has a kitchen and you can have coffee or breakfast. The place has a very good position for travelling with the Circumvesuviana or the other train to Amalfi Coast or to Naples. The host is very kind and helpful with info. The city itself is a mix of old and new, elegant and shabby.

Aldo was an excellent and welcoming host. He provided great recommendations for places to visit and had several guide leaflets with information on nearby tourist attractions. We chose this location for its proximity to Herculaneum and Pompeii, and we also ended up visiting the beautiful Villa Poppea. The B&B is conveniently located near a supermarket and several restaurants, making it a great base for exploring the area.

Claire Osborne is a wonderful host, very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. Aldo and Bruna greeted us with freshly made Lemonade with Lemons grown in the beautiful and relaxing garden. We were also treated to homemade Limoncello which was amazing! Aldo and Bruna have a wealth of knowledge regarding the local area and were able to show us on a map lots of regions of interest and archaeological gems such as Scavi di Oplontis - Villa Poppea which is a must-see! The price for our 4 night stay was amazing value. We would definitely stay again! The guest house is situated in the heart of Torre Annunziata which was ideally suited for travel with the trains being on time and very regular.

Charming bed and breakfast, decor and refurbished faithful to the original style of the building. Large and spacious air-conditioned room. Although centrally located, very quiet at night so no problem sleeping. Aldo, the host, took care to explain everything I needed to know for my stay. Each room is allocated its own table. Individual breakfast trays are made up and kept in the fridge. Also, in the garden, each room is allocated its own table. I felt that maximum Covid care was taken. Sadly, I wasn't here for a holiday so couldn't relax in the garden but will definitely consider returning.

We stayed 3 nights at Giardino di Tonia and everything was perfect! Our room was very big, we could eat breakfast on the terrace or in the very nice garden, which was very pleasant. Bruna and Aldo, the owners, are absolutely delightful, warm, always helpful, and they shared with us their passion for the region. If you are staying in Torre Annunziata you need to go to Giardino di Tonia.

On our first stop in Italy, we had the opportunity to stay at Tonia's Garden B&B. All 3 hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their home. They took the time to answer all our questions and provide us with information for our visit in the area and along the Amalfi Coast. We had a variety of breakfast items and truly enjoyed our cappuccino in the garden in the morning and in the evening after a long day of travel. The hosts are really very kind and enjoyable people we had the pleasure of meeting during our trip to Italy. We will cherish fond memories of our stay.

We were very well received by Bruna and Aldo in their lovely ancient residence with a garden full of lemon and orange trees. Breakfast with fresh bread every morning and homemade jams from the garden fruits made by Bruna. Aldo, passionate about history, pointed out the places to visit, especially the beautiful ancient site of Oplontis with remarkably preserved frescoes and statues. Charming accommodation, very nice owner, beautiful garden, good shopping opportunities and restaurants nearby. We stayed three days at this accommodation and we left more than satisfied. Located in a strategic point to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento, Capri, Vesuvius, Naples,... It is not a modern hotel but the place is quiet, has its charm in the center of the village and the owner Aldo is a very friendly person who cared all the time for us to make sure everything went well. The highlight is the wonderful garden, with shady and sunny areas, tables, benches and lawns. It is right in the middle of the city, a 10-minute walk from the Circumvesuviana station. And a 5-minute walk from the sea.

The property is located in the center of Torre Annunziata but is well served by public transport with the further possibility of parking at the entrance for loading and unloading luggage. Personally, I found it great, I spent three quiet days with my husband immersed in the garden/citrus grove that is inside the property, having as background only the sound of the birds. Despite having the chaotic sound of the lively city just a few steps away, inside there is a spectral silence. Excellent cleanliness and attention to detail in the furnishings of the rooms and the accessories found in the shared kitchen (there is even more than the essentials). The host Aldo is helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

I stayed at this property from 17 to 19 October 2022, with my partner. The room we chose turned out to be in line with the description and photos provided on the website. The location is excellent for reaching public transport or attractions such as Villa di Poppea or simply going to the beach. The garden was really large, equipped with tables and chairs. The only downside was the poor breakfast served, the website suggested a tasting of typical and local products, which only happened with the jams, for the rest we found packaged snacks and half a pack of cereals, and a single bottle of milk for all guests of the property. Another thing I didn't like was waiting to check-in, as the manager was busy doing, according to him, the weekly shopping for the B&B. All in all, considering the strategic location and the room, we can say we are partially satisfied.

Gentile Ivana, ci fà piacere che abbia apprezzato la camera ove ha soggiornato, il giardino, la struttura nell'insieme. Quanto alla 1ma colazione offerta, mi consenta di non condividere la sua delusione in quanto riteniamo (insieme, in verità, ai tantissimi Ospiti che negli anni ci hanno scelto ed anche, poi, confermato) sia più che soddisfacente, tanto in termini di varietà della scelta che di qualità della proposta. Solo per citare alcuni prodotti (che forse non le interessavano) offriamo per colazione caffè in cialde (un marchio storico della torrefazione napoletana), cappuccino, tè caldo, latte fresco, succhi di frutta, yogourt ed ancora, fette biscottate, biscotti, croissant, burro, marmellate... Le marmellate sono il nostro vanto, è vero! Abbiamo sia la marmellata di limoni fatta in casa con i limoni biologici del nostro giardino che quella di albicocche, di gelsi, di fichi ed altre (che ovviamente alterniamo giorno per giorno), prodotte da aziende agricole locali. Ci può stare, ci mancherebbe, che tutto quanto indicato non sia di suo gradimento... Ha dimenticato, però, di menzionare nella recensione, che, alla presenza del suo compagno, le è stato chiesto se gradisse avere anche del pane fresco a colazione e di indicarci quale altro prodotto ancora le avrebbe fatto piacere consumare. Lapidariamente ci ha risposto: "A colazione prendo solo un caffè!" Non comprendiamo (avendo letto la recensione), quindi perchè non abbia inteso essere sincera con noi... Per quanto riguarda il check-in, come sà, non ha dovuto "attendere" neanche un minuto bensì Le abbiamo (il giorno prima), indicato un orario in cui farlo in quanto impegnati nella spesa delle vivande e dei detersivi, prima, ed in un check-in con altri Ospiti, poi. Ah dimenticavo...gli altri Ospiti presenti nel B&B non prendevano il latte, quindi la bottiglia in frigo era solo per Voi... Ci auguriamo di averLa ancora nostra Ospite non certo per stupirla con effetti speciali (non ci riusciremmo!) ma per farla ricredere "sul campo", su taluni giudizi. Buona Vita!

I am happy to write such a positive review. The managers were really very kind, the place is stunning. I was given an Equotube and I was really happy to use it there. I wouldn't change anything, from the breakfast management, to the room arrangement, to their welcome and hospitality. Not to mention the garden, a piece of history. Cozy and tastefully decorated property. Tonia and Aldo: two extraordinary hosts who manage the family palace with care and attention to guests. The room I stayed in was very clean, the breakfast service well organized and attentive. The palace garden: the green lung of the B&B, an ideal place to sip a coffee (offered with extreme kindness by the hosts) and relax while enjoying the surroundings. Absolutely recommended for those staying in Torre Annunziata, which is strategically located to reach the Vesuvian countries (Pompeii, Herculaneum, and many others) and their historical and cultural beauties (I absolutely recommend the Oplontis Excavations - Villa of Poppea in Torre Annunziata, within walking distance from the B&B). The garden of Tonia is an oasis of tranquility, it helps a lot to relax and forget the hectic life of everyday. Rooms and common areas well organized, kind and helpful staff. The owners are delightful people.

Very welcoming structure, with nice rooms equipped with every comfort. Very accurate cleaning, a delightful and very comfortable private garden to spend moments of rest. Managers are available and caring, without being intrusive. Great location to reach, also with the Circumvesuviana, both the Amalfi Coast and the archaeological excavations.

For the second year in a row, in the summer period, I stayed at this B&B in Torre Annunziata finding the same welcome, kindness, and professionalism that I remembered, in addition to significant improvements to the structure. The place is always magical, in the garden with lemon trees and the constant care of the managers, ready to meet the various needs of adults and children, you feel at home. Once again, I thank Mrs. Bruna and Mr. Aldo for the warmth, hospitality, availability, and culture they can convey to guests, guiding them and advising on visits and places that allow you to appreciate the authentic spirit and flavor of the beautiful city of Oplontis. For those, like me, who have roots but do not reside in their hometown, it is nice to know that, when I want to return to Torre Annunziata, I can count on a place like Il Giardino di Tonia, to feel "at home". We stayed at this property with spacious and clean rooms for only two nights in July 2021, but we still found exquisite hospitality and availability from the owners Aldo and Bruna, who dedicated a lot of time to explanations and advice, highlighting their passion for the work they do. We highly recommend it also for the attention to the environment and the safeguarding of the territory, which is a priority of this property, and for the beautiful and well-kept Vesuvian garden.

Magnificent structure with a very important strategic location for excursions both in Naples and along the entire Amalfi Coast, with a beautiful citrus grove, where you can relax in the shade of a lemon garden. The B&B managers are very courteous and kind, they are available for any questions regarding the territory and very knowledgeable to show the best places of their territory, with enchanting excursions along the Amalfi Coast.

Journey in the heart of Campania, in the metropolitan area of Naples, discovering culture, nature, and cuisine! Torre Annunziata is the classic place you wouldn't expect! Stayed in the center, steps away from the sea, steps away from the center and the shopping streets! Looking out from one of the panoramic terraces in the area, you can see breathtaking views from Vesuvius to Capri! The center is full of life, shops, bars, restaurants, in addition to the densely frequented promenade! What made the biggest difference, more than anything else, was the incredible hospitality, kindness, availability, precision, and welcome of the property owners! Fantastic people! ... and just to see them again, it would be worth rescheduling the next Neapolitan trip! Congratulations and thank you! ... we felt welcomed and pampered like at home!

Great Bed and Breakfast, perfect for visiting Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Mount Vesuvius using the Circumvesuviana, which is very convenient. The ancient building that houses the Bed and Breakfast is truly charming and well-maintained. Additionally, there is a large inner courtyard that is actually a garden of oranges and lemons, with benches for outdoor breakfast, a swing for children, etc. The manager provides useful information, which we took advantage of. And by the way, there are also important excavations in Torre Annunziata, with wonderful frescoes.

We had a great time, great location to visit Pompeii (a stop of the Circumvesuviana) and the villa of Poppea (Oplontis). Our "room" was actually a spacious mini apartment, very comfortable bed, varied and plentiful breakfast; moreover, the owners are really kind and full of advice and the price more than good. Very good Wi-Fi (no TV), convenient and free parking. Excellent choice.

I believe that staying in 5-star hotels, sterile and detached, is not necessary. A Bed and Breakfast like The Garden of Tonia, offers simplicity, cleanliness, strategic location, but above all, it offers true Neapolitan hospitality, starting from Tonia, passing through Aldo and ending with Bruna, you will feel at home. If you need anything, one of them is there at your disposal to help you. This is priceless and rare, try it to believe it.
