Location and style
Our B & B is located in a quiet area of ??Positano, 5 minutes from the Fornillo beach and next to the main road where are many local restaurants (with discounts for our guests), parking, shops and the bus stop. The "Venus-Inn" B & B Positano is a hospitable and comfortable hotel, in style and colors typical of the Amalfi Coast homes with terraces. We guarantee a pleasant holiday in an enchanting location, availability and information of all kinds, and clean and comfortable rooms

Our guests will have the opportunity to go shopping, enjoy relaxing at the property or in the beautiful turquoise sea, experience the flavors of the Amalfi Coast, participate in numerous cultural events organized in Positano, immerse yourself in the tranquility of lush gardens and the beautiful landscapes of the most famous places of the Coast as Ravello, Amalfi, Capri, Sorrento, go on cultural trips to Pompeii, boat trips or hiking tours on the lush Mediterranean vegetation.

Our structure is the ideal location for a romantic vacation, rest, sea or mountain, and as a basis or starting point for day trips to various places of the Amalfi Coast.

We will provide our guests with a private bathroom in each room, free wifi, heated rooms, freedom to return at night every hour and a rooftop terrace for each room to enjoy the beauty of the place while sipping a drink or having a snack.
The day begins with a rich and delicious breakfast with genuine products and seasonal fruits
In the rooms our guests will find a comfortable bed, desk, mirror, wardrobe, chairs, water boiler, hair dryer, towels and linens. Cleaning is daily.

Notes
You will be met and assisted by the kindness of the owners are able to speak Italian, English, French, Hungarian and Spanish. On-site brochures and maps for our guests.

Breakfast is served on a sunny terrace with views of the sea and the village (can be also room service). What better start to the day. It consists of one or more hot drinks and fruit juice, fresh baked croissants, yogurt and fruit, bread and biscuits, cheese and cured meat, plum cake, butter and jams. Depending on availability we offer homemade jams and fruits of your garden. Everything is seasoned with sympathy and joy! Good Day Positano!

Gippy is an amazing host, very welcoming. He also speaks French! The B&B is well located (of course, this is Positano, so expect going up and down the stairs). The room was very charming. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. I highly recommend. Going back to Positano, I would stay at Gippy's without hesitation.

Highly recommend Gippy's BNB to anyone traveling to Positano. It was in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Gippy was such a great host and provided so many great recommendations during our stay. The rooms were very spacious and the views from the terrace are unbelievable. I honestly think that the rooms and views are even better in person than in the pictures! The breakfast was also amazing with fresh fruit, juices, coffee, pastries, and more! Overall, could not have asked for a better place!

Comfortable bed and breakfast in Positano. Host is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are typical European... older and small but the room was very spacious and you can’t beat the patio and view! Breakfast was the best we had during our trip!

Our stay with Gippy at the Venus Inn was nothing but SPECTACULAR and PERFECT. We felt like family by the time we left. Gippy truly cares about his guests, and provides a magical setting to both unwind but also get out and enjoy Positano. The location of the villa is perfect, about a 10 minute walk down to the water. It is right off the main road and very accessible. The view is so beautiful. Breakfast was superb and generous. Lastly, the price was absolutely unmatched and SUCH a great value compared to everything else in Positano considering how fantastic everything is about this property. Great restaurants nearby. We will be here again in the future!

This was by far the best place we stayed in Italy and we had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights; I wish we could have stayed longer. The location of this bed and breakfast as it relates to everywhere else in Positano is so perfect; it is in a quieter spot down the street from some wonderful restaurants and shops, and within a 10-15 minute walk to the main drag where the hustle and bustle is a little wild! Our host, Gippy, as well as Eugenia, could not have been any more accommodating, kind, or welcoming to the B&B and to their beautiful city. Every morning, the tables were set with the most scrumptious European breakfast you could ask for - whole fresh fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses, multiple types of homemade bread, Nutella, jellies, butter, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, cappuccino, Americano, espresso, and juices, among other items! It is so picturesque up on the terrace with some of the best views of the sea, boats and cliffside homes and shops. Gippy also had amazing recommendations for where to eat and shop, and we took his advice each time and had fantastic experiences. And he is so fun, and so energetic, lively and keeps you happy! Best host ever! Also, Eugenia is an artist when it comes to cleanliness and organization of the room and her breakfast service. I have never had someone organize my messy things and was just so grateful to come back to such a nice, clean room after a long day! Gippy also allowed us to use some beach towels for a day trip we took to Capri so that was lovely. I cannot say enough positive things about this place; I want to come back, tomorrow, next year, next lifetime, and do it all over again!

The room was comfortably spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The balcony was perfect for evening relaxation. The whole visit was peaceful. Breakfast on the balcony was the best. The food, the atmosphere, our host Gippy was friendly and helped us feel relaxed and like old friends. If ever I come back to Positano, I will stay here. It was a beautiful, relaxing, peaceful stay. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay at the B&B Venus-Inn Residence and cannot fault one thing about this B&B at all! It is perfectly located off the road so the steps (and there are many in Positano) are minimal compared to other hotels we saw. Gippy was a perfect host providing us lots of local information and shortcuts (again, to avoid as many stairs as possible) and was such a happy face to see in the morning over breakfast - even adding Vegemite to our breakfast as a special touch for us Aussies! The view is stunning, the restaurants only a few minutes away are simply delicious (we went to Saraceno d'Oro every night - beautiful food). Highly recommend.

Venus Inn was our favorite stay of our entire 16-day Europe trip! The room was spacious, clean, and cool. It had the most incredible view from the large balcony. It was very reasonably priced compared to the other places to stay in the area, and it had great access to delicious restaurants and both beaches in Positano. The staff was so hospitable and kind, and the breakfast each morning was yummy and filling! Thank you so much to the host, Gippy, for such a wonderful place to stay in one of the most beautiful places!

We had the best stay at B&B Venus-Inn Residence! The property is amazing with lovely balconies. Fornillo beach is just 6-7 minutes walk downhill and it’s so pretty and quieter than Spiaggia Grande. There are plenty of restaurants around and the port is easy to get to (15 minutes walk). The wifi was pretty good and breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of food and coffee offered on the gorgeous balcony! The hosts are so attentive and kind. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the place to all our friends coming to Positano! :)

We could not have been happier with the care and quality of the B&B Venus-Inn Residence! We felt so comfortable and cared for by everyone there! The breakfast was so yummy and fresh, and with that view from the terrace... it was beautiful and so peaceful! I highly recommend the Venus inn and would love to come back to Positano and stay here! (And I loved our location because there were stairs down to the beach near us, but we could walk up the normal path instead of having to walk back up stairs to the B&B!)

Gippi is a wonderful host! He provided us with lots of options for sightseeing and hiking, and was very friendly! The place was modest, but comfortable and quiet. I wish the helper knew a bit more English. I think “milk” and “egg” should be known words.

Absolutely breathtaking property. It contains a garden that has been there for decades and a gorgeous villa. Our stay would not have been as incredible if it wasn't at B&B Venus-Inn Residence. This is a lovely inn just a 10-15 minute walk up the road from the main part of Positano (beach and shops area). It is located near the Fornillo Grotto stop of the bus, and your private taxi would let you off here as well, then you walk down a few sets of steps to get to the inn. Gippy the host is very helpful and friendly and speaks excellent English, just in case your Italian is limited. The rooms are clean and basic. No air conditioning, I think, but this was not a problem as it cooled off nicely at night. Breakfast was typical European with croissants, meat and cheese, fruit, juice and coffee. I enjoyed it very much. The view from the balcony is wonderful. This is a great place to stay for a good price if you want to be close to the centre of Positano without paying a fortune! Lots of nice restaurants nearby, and Fornillo beach down a lot of steps nearby as well. My advice when visiting Positano is to pack lightly so you don't have to carry a large suitcase everywhere. I highly recommend Venus Inn.

Gippy was an amazing host and we could not have been happier on our choice of stay. It is in a great position as it is above a more private beach as well as near some more authentic local restaurants. Gippy was very helpful in organizing activities for us or advising on good places to eat and explore.

Gippy is one of the best hosts I ever met, he has a big heart and gives his best to make one's stay comfortable and delightful. The view from the terrace is wonderful, the breakfast is very good, including cheese, ham, and orange juice. We liked that our room/apartment was spacious, and enjoyed sitting on our private terrace in the evening. Venus-Inn Residence is in a more quiet part of Positano, which is nice, but still close to the center and the Fornillo Beach. Gippy gave helpful tips regarding restaurants and traveling around, and he even organized a taxi-shuttle from Naples for us. We stayed for one week, and had a great holiday. Thank you Gippy.

Our host Gippy was amazing and couldn’t be more helpful! He gave us lots of information on where to go and how to get there, also tips for restaurants. I had an incident where the airline lost my bag for 3 days and Gippy was amazing at facilitating the delivery for me. Loved this property and loved Gippy.

Gippy is a figure of Positano, very pleasant and welcoming. Impeccable room and very good breakfast. The location should be perfect in summer as the room only sees the sun in the morning. Too bad there are no, like elsewhere and especially at this price, bathroom products (shampoo, soap or shower gel). But overall, the prices in Positano are very high and this room remains among the cheapest with assured comfort.

Gippy is a great host. Already upon our arrival, he warmly welcomed us at the small cave along the road and carried our suitcases down the stairs to his small B&B. Afterwards, he was always available for questions and information or inquired if he could help us in any way. We felt very comfortable in our bright and friendly room from the beginning. The view from the accommodation of Positano and the sea is beautiful. We were very sorry to have to leave after 4 days.

We had an incredible experience! The manager Gippy is lovely, always available to the customers! The view from the room is stunning, both during the day and at night Positano looks spectacular.

Clean, well-kept and characteristic structure; the location is convenient, close to restaurants and the main street. The smallest beach is about 10 minutes away, while Marina Grande beach is slightly further but still easily reachable on foot (considering the typical steps of the place). Abundant breakfast with sea view. The manager (Gippy) is helpful and very welcoming!

Very nice, comfortable and spacious room. Breathtaking view. Only one thing is missing: the buffet breakfast. Otherwise it is excellent.

Ciao Valentina , sono felice vi sia piaciuto il vostro soggiorno . Grazie per il consiglio , ci ho pensato tante volte a fare la colazione a buffet ma per 3 camere non ne vale la pena . Preferisco servirla io anche se devo salire e scendere dalla cucina tante volte. Mi tengo in forma !!! :-)

I'm sorry you could not catch what the others guests appreciate : location , out of the crowded area but close to Fornillo beach and restaurants Quality and price : one of the B&B with best price in the expensive Positano. Maybe one night was to short to enjoy its and you was tyred to travelling moving so often Hope to welcome you again to let you enjoy the VENUS inn and Positano ;-)

Very nice and cozy structure, beautiful panoramic view. Located in the upper part of Positano, reachable on foot or by small local bus.
