The B&B is ideally located to explore the south from Lecce to Leuca. Laila is a wonderful hostess who takes care of her guests with passion. She provides excellent tips for excursions and restaurant recommendations and always helps with bookings. Thank you for a wonderful week! Breakfast is freshly prepared daily by Laila. She uses only fresh and organic ingredients, often from her own garden. She serves fresh fruit, homemade bread and cakes, and homemade jams. Also yogurt with changing toppings. Simply great! There's always an explanation about the ingredients.

Laila is really good and professional, the place is very beautiful, well-kept and fully respects the context in which it is located. Super cleanliness and the flagship is breakfast with all km0 products prepared in a superb way by her. If you are passing by or want to plan your vacation in southern Salento, it's really worth going there.

At the Borgo del Gallo, you breathe the air of home even if you've driven nine hours. Oasis of peace and serenity, the greenery and its scents, hens, birds, and little dogs accompany you throughout your stay. Upon arrival, you are greeted by Laila, the cornerstone of the Borgo, a simple and special person always ready to help and suggest the best of the territory. With skill and passion, she prepares extraordinary breakfasts every day that the heart and palate will never forget. The parents Ada and Annibale, fundamental figures, generously share with guests stories and traditions of the place. We couldn't ask for more, everything exceeded our expectations. With melancholy, we left this wonderful place but happy to have experienced a genuine experience and to have met new friends. Thank you for everything and see you soon. Paolo & Paola.

A magical place!

The definition of hospitality! We stayed here for about a week at the beginning of July. Excellent Bed and Breakfast, very well-kept and cute - strategically located to explore the entire southern Salento. From the very first moment we felt at home: Laila was very kind in welcoming us and giving us all the useful information to explore the surroundings and always available for suggestions, etc. Finally, the breakfast: in a word, spectacular, abundant and varied: every day a mix of homemade sweet and savory items: bread, cakes, focaccia. A must return!

The Borgo del Gallo is the ideal place to relax. Laila is a very welcoming manager and loves taking care of her guests. Her breakfasts made with local and homemade products are superb! She knows the territory very well which she promotes with the same passion with which she pampers the guests.

The structure is surrounded by the countryside and this alone is detoxifying. Laila is very attentive to her guests and an excellent promoter of the natural and culinary beauties of the territory. Her breakfasts are nothing short of exquisite: the cakes made by her, the oven-baked cookies, the delicious yogurt flavored with her creativity, her jams, fresh fruit, and the inevitable special sandwich that tastes of Salento and then becomes a good snack for lunch, because Laila also provides you with the bag to take it away!

Everything very well taken care of. The owner Laila very kind, always available at any time of the day. The amazing breakfast and especially 0 km, prepared with care. The rooms very clean, very spacious and well furnished. The location of the structure allows you to visit both the inland and the coast. So I highly recommend it, it's a unique experience.

Hospitality and courtesies of bygone eras immersed in the Salento nature.

It was our first experience at Borgo del Gallo and it definitely won't be the last. The Borgo is beautiful, cared for with love and passion by Laila and her family. The rooms are enchanting, equipped with everything necessary and impeccably clean. Laila is attentive to her guests, caring without being intrusive and available to advise and meet everyone's needs. There are not enough words to praise the breakfasts! In the twelve days we stayed, we never ate the same things twice. Exceptional products mixed with skill by Laila's wise hands and seasoned with her passion for her land. I'm not sure if you eat well everywhere in Salento, but at Borgo del Gallo you always eat well! But besides the beauty of the place and the goodness of the food, there is something else that Borgo del Gallo offers: TIME. It gives that dimension in which to retreat to relax, reflect, admire, rest. It was the first vacation where we returned regenerated in body and spirit, ready to leave again. Thank you! Se state leggendo questa mia recensione, posso solo invitarvi a non pensarci più e a prenotare. Borgo del Gallo è il posto che state cercando: - contesto stupendo, riservato e comodo da raggiungere, al riparo da luci e rumori in un piccolo angolo di paradiso; - la posizione è centralissima, da qui potrete visitare tutto il Salento; - pulizia eccezionale, camere ordinatissime e profumatissime; - Laila (la titolare) è fin meglio del meglio che vi possiate aspettare di trovare; - la colazione varrebbe da sola il prezzo della camera, per varietà, qualità e scelta degli ingredienti (per 4 giorni abbiamo conservato gli “avanzi” nella bustina gentilmente fornita dalla titolare e non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno di pranzare).

Non ci sono parole in grado di rendere giustizia al meraviglioso soggiorno presso questo b&b. Notti stellate nel silenzio più totale, natura e pace in un connubbio perfetto, struttura tipica e fortemente intrisa di storia e trazione. Ma le due vere perle sono la colazione (mai nessun b&b da me provato è riuscito a competere in merito) esageratamente squisita e homemade...e la proprietaria Laila. Disponibile, gentilissima, sempre presente e sempre pronta a suggerirci posticini meravigliosi da visitare o dove andare a cena. Veramente una bellissima persona. Torneremo sicuramente.

Se desiderate trascorrere le vostre vacanze immersi nel verde, contornati da un paesaggio e un mare meraviglioso, in piena tranquillità e serenità avete scelto il posto giusto. La masseria è a dir poco deliziosa e molto curata, resa tale dalla proprietaria Laila che mette nel suo lavoro amore e passione. Una persona stupenda e gentilissima, attenta ai particolari nel far sentire i propri clienti allo stesso tempo ospiti e come se fossero a casa propria. La colazione è straordinaria, piena di tradizioni e diversa ogni giorno. Torte buonissime, naturalmente fatte da Laila, yogurt bianco con succo di mirto, miele, cereali, marmellata d'uva, di pere e rhum, torte e panini salati farciti con capocollo, mozzarella, ricotta, parmigiana e pomodori essiccati, pezzi di frutta con foglioline di menta per dare un tocco di freschezza, tutto rigorosamente a km zero! E poi che dire della spiegazione di Laila di ogni colazione, bastava sentirla parlare per farti venire l'acquolina in bocca! Me ne sono andata con le lacrime agli occhi, perchè la cordialità, l'educazione e il profumo di casa che ho trovato in questo luogo incantato mi sono rimasti nel cuore. Tornerò Laila, promesso!

Non potevamo vivere un soggiorno migliore. La pace, la tranquillità e la natura in cui e' immersa la struttura regalano momenti piacevoli. Laila ci ha coccolato sin dal primo giorno, ogni sera ci addormentavamo pensando alle super colazioni che ci avrebbe preparato, tutto assolutamente fatto da lei con prodotti di ottima qualità a km 0. Zeppola, Cannella, Circe e Daka ci hanno accolto ogni sera felicemente. Abbiamo amato il salento per le sue bellezze, ma ancora di più resterà nel nostro cuore per quello che Laila ci ha fatto vivere qui. Vero e Leo

Ottima posizione per raggiungere le coste adriatica e ionica (per scegliere le mete giornaliere di mare anche in base al vento). Il b&b è tranquillo e molto pulito. Ci siamo trovati molto bene e a nostro agio; ci siamo goduti proprio una bella vacanza! Laila è riuscita in 10 gg a proporci abbondanti colazioni sempre diverse e tutte preparate con cura, con sapori delicati e genuini; ogni giorno una coccola!

Posto incantevole immerso nel verde. Le camere sono spaziose e hanno anche la cabina armadio. Il bagno è grande e provvisto di prodotti di cortesia e di phon. Laila è attenta ad ogni esigenza dei propri ospiti e sa come coccolarli a partire dalle fantastiche colazioni. Tutte le mattine ci sono torte biscotti e marmellate fatti da lei con i prodotti del suo frutteto e dell’orto è ancora frutta fresca yogurt e pizze farcite. Tutto ottimo. Eccezionali i consigli sui ristoranti. Ad allietare il soggiorno ci sono anche i suoi dolcissimi cagnolini. Grazie di cuore a Laila e la sua famiglia. Torneremo sicuramente

Un luogo molto curato e tranquillo dove si è accolti con calore e attenzione. Le colazioni meritano senza subbio 30 e lode per il gusto (torte, focacce farcite, biscotti, yogurt) e l'attenzione a proporre prodotti locali e di stagione.

Prima volta in Salento, trascorso una settimana veramente rilassante e divertente. La posizione della struttura permette di raggiungere velocemente il mare e tutte le località turistiche più importanti. Laila è stata preziosa per i suoi consigli di cosa andare a visitare e dove poter fare magnifici bagni nelle acque cristalline dei due mari. Spero di poterci tornare presto.

Struttura magnifica e gestore fantastico. Ci hanno accolti come mai siamo stati accolti nella nostra vita. Laila ci ha mostrato sulla mappa tutto ciò che c’era da visitare nel Salento ed in base a dove ci trovavamo ci consigliava dove cenare. La colazione, sempre preparata da lei era squisita ed abbondante. Ci ha coccolato come mai nessun B&B ha fatto con noi. Se dovessi andare di nuovo in Salento sicuramente ritornerei qui.
